Aretha's got it; some graphic novels do too

I'll be back with my NY SCBWI posts shortly. I had some Cybils poetry judging duties to attend to. (Announcements are on Thursday!)

But as an Aretha fan, and a fascinated observer of the development of graphic novels, I had to put this out there for you:

    Uh, both at one point have demanded our respect? (the latter, 'cause people for so many years were dismissive of comics and other graphically-sequenced stories)....
