I love this one, but to some extent I disagree with Leonardo. I DO see poetry when I read it, particularly when the poet has conjured up an image I can't let go of.
I get that, Tricia. Wish Leonardo could show up and debate with you.
I particularly love the first half of that, as someone who is constantly showing art anymore at the ol' blawg. I get that. I really do.
I agree -- I can imagine poetry as well, but I do feel his point -- sometimes that gouache is just... poetry in paint.
