  1. I need one of those typewriter key necklaces. Ditto the calling cards.

  2. Sara, your library shelf stickers ring so true! I need some that read "Don't shelf me up here, it's too far high, you'll never read me again!" and "One more book on this shelf and we're jammed for good!"

  3. Will you stop reading my mind? I was just thinking about posting gift ideas for writers!(and I'm coughing, like you). Love how you led up to the snowflakes :). . .

  4. Sara,
I see the woman who runs Small Meadow Press every December at the Bizarre Bazaar here in Richmond. I have several stacks of the books and readers note cards (gardening too) as my gift stash for friends. She also makes lovely journals. I've filled several with poetry!

  5. adrienne, I fully expect to see you with that necklace on next time we meet!

Mac: Ha! I bet you could draw some fun labels for your books, too.

jama: post away! I'd like to see what you suggest my husband give me for Christmas. :)

Tricia: I met her at the Charlottesville Festival of the Book. Such a nice person and I love her work.

  6. So cute! I think Noah has some typewriter cufflinks, or bought them for someone else recently.

Great to meet you in Chicago! Can't wait to read your book!

  9. Micol, it was fun meeting you too, even though we hardly got to talk. What a whirlwind!

Susan: welcome! I'm glad you found me. I like that "Easily Distracted" one too. Although "Name Your Price" wouldn't be bad for an author signing. ;)
